Rajkot engineer patents New Technology for engine efficiency
A new technology increases power efficiency of two and four stroke engines by 20 to 40 per cent is very inspiring. The new technology developed and patented by Parsottam Pipaliya, a mechanical engineer, may have a far-reaching effect on the automobile industry worldwide.
Pipaliya, originally from Rajkot district, said, “We can have improvement by 1.5 times in the two and four stroke engines by carrying out changes in the dimension of crankshaft and cylinder bore.” He has been working to increase the mileage efficiency of vehicles for the past 20 years.
“This technique could revolutionise the power efficiency of the engine,” Pipaliya said and claimed it also reduces the burden, sound and vibrations of the engine, allowing it to work powerfully for a longer time.
He also claimed that his technology would help save fuel.
Pipaliya has registered his technology under the tag: ‘The world master of mileage technology.’ He has been using it for experimental purposes in his own Maruti 800 car for the past 28,000 kms
His patent application was published on December 18, 2009, and closed on June 18, 2010.
